The ZWILLING SharpBlock with KIS technology takes care of your knife set from the ZWILLING Gourmet series. All you have to do: nothing. The kitchen knives are automatically sharpened every time you remove a knife from the block. Whether you're a professional or a home cook, it couldn’t be easier to maintain the optimal sharpness and quality of your knives.
The mechanism behind this is as simple as it is brilliant. The slots for knives with a smooth edge have two integrated ceramic sharpening stones that are positioned at the perfect sharpening angle. When you pull the knives out, the blades glide over the stones, gently sharpening them. This ensures your knives are always sharp and ready for use - without any effort.
To ensure that knives are placed in the correct slot, each one is marked with pictograms for the respective knife type. The 7-piece knife block has slots for a paring knife (10 cm), utility knife (13 cm), carving knife (20 cm), chef’s knife (20 cm), bread knife (20 cm), and a pair of kitchen shears, and it is already equipped with corresponding knives from the ZWILLING Gourmet series.
