The Emma bread basket by Stelton features the same design concept as the other pieces in the Emma series: with clean lines and a combination of steel and molded beech wood. This design language and choice of materials are an elegant continuation of Danish design from the 1950s.
When the bread basket is placed on the table, the molded beech wood handle integrates naturally into the design and fits snugly around the metal basket. The handle can be easily lifted when passing the basket around the table or carrying it from the kitchen to the dining table. Inside the bread basket is a custom-fitted liner made of 100% OEKO-TEX cotton, making it easy to remove crumbs. If the fabric looks worn, it can be conveniently machine-washed. The Emma bread basket can also be used for fruit. The basket can hold up to a maximum weight of 3 kg.
