The Sabatier Yatang knife has a long, slim blade and an unusual shape. The slightly curved shape with the upturned tip gives the knife its name and is reminiscent of the Turkish Yatagan sword.

The blade shape is not only for aesthetic effect, but also for functionality. The upturned tip creates a slightly curved cutting edge. The blade enables precise, fine and long slicing so that a roast or ham can be carved with just a few strokes.
