Product information "Riess CLASSIC - White - Enamel lid for milk jug"
The enamel lid of Grandma's milk jug is also available to purchase separately and fits all RIESS enamel milk jugs from 1.0 liters to 1.5 liters to 2.0 liters. The lid is made of pure white enamel with a well-closing silicone seal.
Enamel is bacteria-inhibiting and resistant to fruit acids and is therefore ideal for the kitchen. Enamel is made of iron that has been fused with glass at high temperatures. Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth and cut and scratch-resistant surface made of glass. Enamel tableware is recommended for people allergic to nickel.
