GU - Greece Vegetarian
Greek - you think of bifteki, souflaki and lots of meat. BUT: the real heart of Greek cuisine is vegetarian! Elissavet Patrikiou, who has sold over 10,000 copies of "echt griechisch" and most recently published the book "Athen - das Kochbuch" with Südwest-Verlag, knows this. The author and photographer, who comes from a small mountain village in the north of Greece, would travel to different regions of Greece for "The Green Heart of Greek Cuisine/The Real Greek Cuisine" and thus serve up the diversity of Greek cuisine, the core of which is one thing: vegetarian!
