Culinaris recommends using only silicone tools for non-stick and ceramic-coated pans and pots, as this avoids scratches in the coating. Scratches considerably shorten the life of coated cookware. The high-quality silicone has been tested for food safety and is ready for use between -40 °C and +200 °C. Use in the oven or microwave is not recommended.
